I started my career in Borouge as Process Engineer in the Polyolefin, Process Support department in the year 2007. The initial experience was very challenging due to the innovative process of Borstar Technology. It is unique and despite my previous 12 yrs of experience at various levels in polymer industry, I learned a lot from working with it. Soon, I was able to contribute in positive way for the Polyethylene units. Within two years I was promoted as Senior Process Engineer and designated as Borstar Technologist. As such, I played a central role in the introduction of Hexene-1 based new polymers which included a project to install new process units and production of Hexene-1 based grades for the first time in Borouge. In 2011, Borouge a Technical Group was formed and I was designated as Chief Engineer for the Polyolefin Technical Development department under the Asset Development Function.
Borouge presents a very exciting and challenging environment in terms of its very advanced process for the production of Bimodal Polyolefin resins. The possibilities are infinite with Borstar and with support from management and exposure to licensing experts, one can learn and contribute quickly.
With a very fast growing organization, the opportunities are endless and one can achieve a lot in short duration of time as it is evident in my case.
