Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

About the Role

The job holder is responsible to provide expertise and support in the areas of Learning & Development, Competency System Development and Career Development within functions of Borouge PTE.

This role is involved in designing, developing, implementing and monitoring of products and service that creates value to Borouge PTE.

In order to achieve desired level of performance, the job holder needs to have maturity and excellent interpersonal skill to work closely with Function Leadership teams and regional stakeholders to implement strategies and plan.

 

Key Accountabilities

Learning and Development

  • Conduct regional level Training Needs Analysis (include data collection, analysis, recommendations) with a view towards establishing organization development solutions
  • Develop and implement training plans, training budgets, training roadmaps and training programs for continuous improvement to meet changing business needs
  • Implement evaluation processes and procedures to ensure quality delivery of training solutions to meet employee development needs
  • Provide development for in-house trainers through train-the-trainer expertise
  • Implement administrative procedures such as audit findings to comply with ISO requirements
  • Implement Learning Management System (LMS) to support build-up of Learning Organization

Competency Management System

  • Design and develop competency framework to support competency based trainings for employee development
  • Implement customized competency based trainings to meet employee development needs
  • Provide advice to management to identify department level competency gaps and recommend training solutions 
  • Review competency framework across functions to ensure relevancy to support employee development 

Projects

  • OneERP process training content development and implementation for all streams
  • OneERP training status reporting to business controllers and CEO Office
  • OneERP HCM process training implementation (EPM training)
  • Implement online eLearning trainings (LinkedIn Learning) and webinars

Career Development

  • Advise training and education solutions to employee to support their career development growth
  • Improve operations framework, processes and systems to support UAE talent development program in International Attachment in Asia Pacific.
  • Enhance local and foreign internship program to build long term talent pipeline to support organization manpower growth

General Admin

  • Administer Human Capabilities’ Strategy and Plans to support organizational development initiatives
  • Developing and communicate training policy and processes to facilitate employee development to support People Development programs in the region
  • Administer new learning tools and systems to improve employees overall competency

 

 

 

 

Qualification & Experiences

Minimum Qualification

  • University degree or equivalent

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • Min 5 years working experience
  • Min 3 years’ experience in planning and implementation of Learning & Development, Competency Development and Career Development in an international MNC organization
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining HRIS (LMS)
  • Experience in data management and analytics
  • Experience  in working with cross functional teams at local or regional levels
  • Knowledge of relevant training systems and processes
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and regulations
  • Understanding of Borouge and its businesses
  • Organizational development, facilitation skills
  • Training design, analysis and process
