Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

JOB PURPOSE

Manage and develop sales and marketing activities through delivery of products and services to meet customer demands within defined areas to meet business targets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Specific Accountabilities

Area of Responsibility

  • Develop, propose and deliver agreed sales plan (volume, price, customer and product mix) to optimize customer and product mix

  • Deliver accurate operational planning and forecasting to meet customer needs and optimize internal operations

  • Provide advice on segments, customers and suppliers

  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow business

  • Manage activities at strategic customers to optimize business in alignment with overall strategy

  • Manage after sales activities to meet agreed targets

People

  • Motivate, coach and develop sales support to ensure high level of performance

Customer

  • Build and maintain customer relationships to strengthen the commercial position of Borouge

  • Manage after sales activities to meet sales target and ensure continuity

  • Identify new customers/business opportunities

Interfaces

  • Manage Borouge customer interface internally to deliver agreed customer requirements through a cross functional approach

  • Gather market information and enhance Borouge's reputation through the development of positive relationships with the relevant contacts in industry organization

Experience

1. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • University degree.

 

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in plastic industry and automotive industry is preferred

  •  

Professional Certifications

2. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Basic knowledge of customer conversion process

  • Good knowledge of selling and sales management techniques

  • Good knowledge of products and its applications

  • Good knowledge of marketing strategy and value chain and sales cycle

  • Good knowledge of the local market

  • Good understanding of market structure and factors influencing demand and profitability

  • Good communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Good customer relationship skill

  • Good Financial literacy
