Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

JOB PURPOSE

Manage East & North China business and team members in Market Center Mobility, reporting to East & North China Sales VP

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Specific Accountabilities

Area of Responsibility

  • To contribute to Mobility East and North China business target to be more successful than competition and achieve the overall sales targets

  • Lead and develop the team members to work together with good team spirit as one team

  • To achieve new business nominations and be the preferred supplier

  • To maintain and grow market share with committed commercial management target

  • To increase customer satisfaction and solve any type of issue in a timely manner  

  • Market sense enhancement, contribution to the team by communication and reporting

  • Manage activities at strategic customers to optimize business in alignment with overall strategy

  • To achieve HSE targets and meet all compliance requirements

People

  • Motivate, coach and develop sales support to ensure high level of performance

Customer

  • Build and maintain customer relationships to strengthen the commercial position of Borouge

  • Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solution

  • Identify new customers/business opportunities and design tier strategy aligned with Marketing Centre

Interfaces

  • Manage Borouge customer interface internally to deliver agreed customer requirements through a cross functional approach

  • Gather market information and enhance Borouge's reputation through the development of positive relationships with the relevant contacts in industry organization

Talent development

  • Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.

  • Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals

Generic Accountabilities

  • Lead East & North China mobility sales team to achieve goals

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • University degree.

 

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • At least 8 years of Mobility industry work experience

  • Good knowledge of China Mobility industry value chain

  • Fluent in Chinese listen speaking reading and writing

  • Fluent in English listen speaking reading and writing

  • Good Knowledge of plastic/chemical industry

     

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Basic knowledge of customer conversion process

  • Good knowledge of selling and sales management techniques

  • Good knowledge of products and its applications

  • Good understanding of market structure and factors influencing demand and profitability

  • Good communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Good customer relationship skill
