Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

About the job:

This role is responsible for the administration of annual leave, work pass application, employee movements, claims submission, insurance registration and home leave encashment and long service awards.

You are also responsible for ensuring proper and secure maintenance of employee p-file documents, and address queries from employees related to all the key accountabilities which include:

 

  • Maintain and track accurate employee leave records in manual leave system and tend to all leave related matters with employees
  • Contact point for application and renewal of work pass for new hires, employees and their dependents
  • Administration of employee confirmation, transfers, re-designation and termination
  • Enroll new hires into benefits programs
  • Liaise directly with employees for home leave encashment
  • Ensure accurate data in Employee Master Data and also monitor and control document integrity for employee P-files
  • Administer online claims to relevant authorities for National Service pay, government paid childcare and maternity leave
  • Manage tenancy agreements and relocation matters with employees or  new hires relocating to or from Singapore
  • Administer long service award program for our employees
  • Provide support for team members during major HR exercises viz merit increment, IRAS submission, performance management and variable bonus, including any other ad-hoc HR projects
About you:

To qualify, you need to possess the following:

 

Knowledge:

Bachelor Degree preferably in HR field of study.

 

Experience:

4 -5 years relevant experience in a HR generalist role

 

Skills:

Good communication skills and comfortable in advising employees on HR related matters

Knowledgeable in local employment law

Proficient in using SAP HR module

Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Works well in a team based environment
