About the job:

Plant Availability Function has evolved over the years to become a high quality maintenance service provider for the whole of the Borouge's complex. The function consists of five departments; Polyolefins, Olefins, Strategy, Infrastructure and Services,  which are all essential to carry out the routine daily maintenance jobs in the plants. The prime function of the department is to provide high quality service to operational units in order to achieve and maintain high levels of safe, reliable and continuous production.

Reporting to the ValveSupervisor, you will be part of the maintenance services team and will be responsible for:

  • Providing all types of valve shop services so as to meet operational requirement.
  • Organizes and coordinates with respective workforce to ensure compliance of daily schedule for valve shop released by planning in time and with quality
  • Follow up spares physically or through SAP so as to intimate inventory team for timely delivery. Check material interchangability and  create SCAD for SAP stock entry.
About you:

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • Technical or Diploma Course preferably in Mechanical
  • Very good knowledge in all types of valves and valve shop functions for industrial applications.
  • 5 years relevant experience in handling various valves and valve shop activities preferably in oil, gas or petro-chemical industries.
  • Very good team player
  • Good communication skills in English and proficient in the use of computer
