Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

About the Job

 Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will be part of the Regional Supply Chain team and be responsible for:

  •  Providing prompt, efficient and accurate order confirmation and fulfillment and preparing required order documentation to contribute to the business and enterprise strategy and profitability.
  • Executing liaison actions and interfacing with sales, marketing, customers, warehouses, transportation agencies, freight forwarders and various internal departments, supporting sales/ marketing, customer service and supply chain groups as well as resolving customer complaints and following up on actions.
  • Co-coordinating material returns and following up on credit adjustments as well as maintenance of customer database and service histories
  • Managing and follow-up enquiries on general product info, proforma invoice, letter of credit, sample requests, and product availability
  • Managing the order-to-cash process and preparing the full set of shipping documents.
  • Managing correction process (goods return, credit/debit note requests) & other returns.
  • Proactively identify, propose & implement improvements to systems & processes to achieve quality & efficiency.
  • Coordinating specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  • Reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data as needed
  • Cooperating with, participating in, and supporting the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the company compliance with all regulatory requirements.


About You

You should possess:

  • a diploma or a bachelor degree. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
  • minimum 3 years of relevant experience in customer service/order fulfilment servicing Southeast Asia countries.
  • strong SAP & MS Office skills.
  • knowledge & understanding of transportation modes (air, rail, truck & ocean), freight forwarder industry, export documentation, government regulations & export controls requirements.
  • good understanding of scheduling & lead times.
  • good planning, analytical, organizational interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
  • good skills in pro-actively resolving issues and problems skills.
    ability to lead and work in a multi-cultural team environment as well as multi-task & work under pressure & enjoy challenges
