Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

About the job:


Support Market Centre VP to develop marketing strategy of targeted market area/applications.   Drive the implementation of marketing plan.  Lead marketing team in maximizing profit on product and application level by driving innovation and new product development that meets market demand. Business assessment for the potential investment.



Job Specific Accountabilities

Area of responsibility

  • Contribute to the development of the business strategy by defining the marketing strategy for Borouge market and targeted applications

  • Lead the implementation of marketing plan in order to achieve the strategy defined and ensure alignment with long term goals

  • Evaluate, define and prioritise market and customer opportunities in order to increase Borouge's competitive position

  • Oversee the innovation and product portfolio of selected applications in order to cater to the market's demand

  • Manage the development of differentiated products or product improvements based upon defined customer and market needs

  • Define and implement the marketing communication strategy in cooperation with Group communication and Regions to position the applications, brands and products

  • Profitability management for the products of the responsible marketing center

  • New investment opportunity assessment

  • Establish and maintain business relationship with OEMs and key tiers.


  • Lead, coach team and motivate team to ensure team members are sufficiently skilled to meet current and future business needs


  • Analyze and understand customer needs in order to gather knowledge of their current and future requirements

  • Building relationships and network with internal and external stakeholders

About you:

As a successful candidate, you should possess:

Minimum Qualification

  • University degree with preferably a post-graduate qualifications.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of relevant systems and processes

  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations

  • Good understanding of Borouge and its businesses

  • Consulting and coaching ability

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to negotiate

  • Proficiency in English

  • Set direction, engage and inspire people

  • Strong leadership to align all functions towards complete customer focus, acting as a voice of the customer
