Recruitment fraud and scam alert

Please be aware that Borouge has been receiving notices from candidates seeking clarification of job offers and recruitment propositions they receive. These job offers come from organisations or individuals who are falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) or by people claiming to work for, or are affiliated, to Borouge. In return, they ask the recipients of the job offers to transfer a significant sum of money to pay for certain employment requirements such as visa, etc.

Please note that neither Borouge nor any of the legal organisations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from Borouge are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. All communications with this regard should originate from a verifiable Borouge email address (borouge.com) and not from an internet email addresses such as hotmail, yahoo or others.

What you need to do…

• Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organisations or email addresses that you do not know or trust especially when you have not applied nor gone through any interview with Borouge yet

• Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with

• Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Borouge email addresses, poor use of English and materials and requests for fees or money

About the Role

Reporting to VP, SEA, you will manage and develop regional sales activities for responsible applications through delivery of products and services to meet customer demands to meet business targets, coaching and developing the regional sales team.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Planning Development and Implementation
• Develop, propose and deliver agreed sales plan (volume, price, customer and product mix) to optimize customer and product mix
• Deliver accurate operational planning and forecasting to meet customer needs and optimize internal operations
• Identify and develop opportunities to grow business 
• Manage after sales activities to meet agreed targets
• Control team budget allocated by Sales VP

People
• Motivate, coach and develop direct reports to ensure high level of performance
• Provide advice on segments, customers and suppliers

Customer relationship

• Build and maintain customer relationships to strengthen the commercial position of Borouge
• Manage activities at major customers to optimize business in alignment with overall strategy
• Manage after sales activities to meet sales target and ensure business continuity
• Regular contact with customer service/planning/application development/marketing locally and regionally
• Manage Borouge customer interface internally to deliver agreed customer requirements through a cross functional approach
• Gather market information and enhance Borouge's reputation through the development of positive relationships with the relevant contacts in industry organization

Qualifications & Experience • University degree or above
• Masters degree in Business/Supply Chain/Finance would be a plus
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience
• People management experience
• Experience in petrochemical industry is preferred
• Demonstrated ability in sales management techniques
• Experience managing large territories via direct/indirect sales channels
• Strong knowledge of customer conversion process, products and its applications
• Very good understanding of local market structure and factors influencing demand and profitability
• Strong knowledge of commercial and Order To Cash concepts and processes
• Excellent analytical ability
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
• Excellent customer relationship skill
• Good financial literacy
• Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency
• Demonstrated team leadership
• Desire and flexibility to learn and lead in an ever changing environment
• Change management
• Customer orientation
• Cultural awareness of the countries served
• Commercial Awareness of Borouge's business
