Desired Profile:

BOR1611-HSE Coordinator-Material Handling (Bahrain Campaign)

Borouge is on the way to increase our capacity even further with a multi - billion dollar mega- project called Borouge 3. By the end of 2013 we will have added a 3rd Ethane cracker to create the largest Ethane cracker complex in the world. This new cracker will serve two polyethylene and two polypropylene plants as well as a low density polyethylene plant. All these plants will boast the enhanced Borstar process technology and in total will drive the annual production capacity of our Ruwais operations to 4.5 million tonnes per year. A US $ 1 billion contract was awarded in early 2010 to build the next ethane cracker.

Reporting to the function VP, you will be part of the Material Handling team and will be responsible for :

Conducting routine daily plant safety walk and do survey as per schedule.
Assisting Materials Handling and Terminal Handling Departments in HSE plant incidents/ Accident investigation, HSE surveys, audits and maintaining records.
Monitoring the entries in the HSE incident database to ensure that all Incidents are correctly classified and recorded in accordance with company standards.
Generating trends based on the incidents reported.

Role Purpose:

Provide Corporate and Commercial Legal Advice to all Borouge Group Companies in the PRC with the aim to protect the organization and to minimize and manage legal risks by

To manage the overseas hubs of Borouge through the respective Logistic Service Provider (LSP) in each hub under the frame work of the established long term contracts. Responsibilities:

· Lead in the establishment of hub KPIs, policies and procedures to ensure efficient handling of Borouge resources and production schedule compliance in close coordination with the LSP.
· Jointly plan, organise and direct the packaging, warehousing and maintenance operations in the hub along with the LSP to achieve planned and optimal production, maximum returns on assets and minimum down time.
· Oversee the effectiveness of LSP operations and propose methods for continuous improvement to achieve business objectives and production schedules while insuring service standards that will exceed our customer's expectations.
· Validate and approve LSP plans and processes which minimise operating costs through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital.
· Ensure that LSP is following Borouge business process flows for the assigned tasks as per the contract.

· Ensure the timely implementation of in-bound material flow to the hubs by proper coordination with related SCM function or service partner and LSP.
· Follow up out-bound material flow from the hub and inventory of finished material with LSP to ensure all deliveries and shipments are executed as per given plans
· Coordinate issue of required Purchase Orders for all packing materials needed for the hubs in line with the agreed specification for each material, and using the approved suppliers as per Borouge Procurement guidelines.
· Analyze and forecast Borouge future needs and requirements by keeping abreast of market and services trends and developments
· Review and approve all invoices raised by the LSP in line with the contract clauses, and monitor adherence to budget and business plans.
· Oversee the achievement of the assigned KPI's for the LSP by continuous follow up and in monthly KPI's meetings. Follow up of agreed corrective plans and actions to align with the KPI's.
